
Jake Erhard

Biography
Mr. Erhard is a Partner and Head of ESG at ArcLight, where he has worked in various leadership positions since September 2001. Mr. Erhard has 20 years of energy finance and private equity experience. Mr. Erhard will join the board of directors of Proterra upon the closing of the business combination between Proterra and ACTC I. Mr. Erhard was previously a director at American Midstream Partners, L.P., Buckeye Partners, LP, and JP Energy Partners, L.P. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Erhard was an Analyst at the investment banking firm Schroder Wertheim, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Erhard earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.

Marco Gatti
Chief Financial Officer
Biography
Mr. Gatti joined ArcLight in 2018 and has 11 years of energy and private equity experience. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Gatti spent five years as a Vice President in the Energy group at Warburg Pincus, where he focused on the sourcing, execution and portfolio management of equity investments in the energy and heavy industry sectors. Prior to joining Warburg Pincus in 2013, Mr. Gatti worked at Bain Capital, McKinsey & Company and Praxair between 2007 and 2012. Mr. Gatti earned a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano.

Christine Miller
General Counsel
Biography
Ms. Miller joined ArcLight in 2004 and has 23 years of legal experience in the areas of investment transactions and fund operations, with 21 years specific to energy finance and private equity. Prior to joining ArcLight, she was Counsel in John Hancock’s Investment Law Division, where she represented investment managers and advised institutional investors in purchasing private debt and equity securities. Ms. Miller earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law.

Carl Stjernfeldt
Managing Director at ArcLight Capital Partners
Biography
Mr. Stjernfeldt joined ArcLight in 2021 and has more than twenty years of investing and energy experience across a broad set of investment stages and focus areas. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Stjernfeldt was Head of Corporate Development for Royal Dutch Shell’s renewable business in North America. Prior to Shell, he spent more than 15 years doing venture capital investments at Battery Ventures, Castile Ventures, and as the US leader for Shell’s corporate venture unit. Before his investment career, Mr. Stjernfeldt was a software developer, manager, and consultant. He earned an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management, and has a dual MS in Computer/Electrical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Sweden and Northeastern University in Boston.

Matt Miller

Biography
Mr. Miller joined ArcLight in 2020 and has 10 years of energy finance experience. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Miller was a Managing Director at Recurrent Energy, a North America-focused utility-scale solar and battery storage developer. At Recurrent, he led the project finance team that was responsible for the company’s US asset-level and corporate-level financings. He also worked at Trina Solar, where he focused on strategic planning and international partnerships. Mr. Miller earned a Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College.

Sebastian Neelamkavil

Biography
Mr. Neelamkavil joined ArcLight in 2021 and has 14 years of technology finance and investing experience. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Neelamkavil spent 12 years at Silver Lake, a global technology investment firm. For 10 of those years, he was a Director and founding team member of Silver Lake Kraftwerk, which focuses on growth equity investments in technology businesses related to energy, resources, and efficiency. Prior to joining Silver Lake Kraftwerk, he was an Associate with Silver Lake Partners. He began his career as an investment banker in the Technology Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Credit Suisse. Mr. Neelamkavil graduated with distinction from the University of Western Ontario, where he holds a B.ESc. in Electrical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering and a B.A. in Honors Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business.

Aaron Barasz

Mr. Barasz joined ArcLight as a Senior Advisor in 2020. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Barasz was a Principal at Charlesbank Capital Partners. While at Charlesbank Capital Partners he served as a Board Member at Vision Group Holdings and at Ensono. He also worked at Bain & Company as a consultant. Mr. Barasz earned a Bachelor of Science from Duke University.

Alex Busch

Mr. Busch joined ArcLight in 2020. Prior to joining ArcLight, Mr. Busch was an Associate in the Energy Investment Banking group at Guggenheim Securities where he worked on a variety of transactions in the energy sector. He began his career as an Analyst in the Energy & Power Investment Banking group at Wells Fargo Securities where he worked on the Acquisitions & Divestitures team. Mr. Busch earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Management for Engineers from Bucknell University.

Ms. Ardiff joined ArcLight in 2021. Prior to Joining ArcLight, Ms. Ardiff worked at NextEra as an MBA intern and as an Associate at Audax Group, a middle market private equity firm. She previously worked as a Senior Associate Consultant at Bain & Company. Ms. Ardiff holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce, and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School.
